San Francisco technology company integrates Linescape’s Schedule Data into their online marketplace
Burlingame, CA – January 23, 2015
Linescape, the leading provider of global sailing schedule, vessel and carrier data for containerships, has started delivering sailing schedule data feeds to Haven of San Francisco, a private marketplace where shippers can compare and purchase shipment capacity from supply partners. Linescape and Haven have cooperated to integrate Linescape’s data into Haven’s newly developed shipment capacity marketplace.
“Linescape’s sailing schedule data feed enhances Haven’s marketplace,” according to Renee DiResta, Founder and Director of Marketing. “Haven currently offers 600,000 sailings (or shipment schedules) from 1,500 ports, and receives regularly updated rates and schedules from half of its top 20 carrier, and Linescape has been instrumental in providing schedule data.”
Linescape hosts the container sailing schedules from over 120 shipping lines, including deep-sea, short-sea and feeders, with some 8 million voyages through 3,000 ports by more than 12,500 cargo and container vessels. Data includes a wide variety of in-depth information including: sailing schedules, vessel register data, carrier profiles and local carrier contacts. Linescape pioneered data feeds in 2010 and is now the leading schedule data supplier to shippers, forwarders, logistic providers, port communities and logistics websites.
