GateHouse selects Linescape’s Sailing Schedules API

Linescape was selected by GateHouse Logistics, Denmark, to provide consolidated sailing schedules to GateHouse’s platform through Linescape’s API for their data sharing across the supply chain.

Burlingame, CA – January 12, 2021

Our global visibility platform supports all modes and automates the entire global transportation value chain”, said Thorbjørn Søgaard Christensen, Head of Data at GateHouse Logistics. “We were looking for a solution to get daily schedule updates for a dynamically changing list of vessels, and Linescape’s API looked ideally promising for us to look up schedules based on IMO numbers”.

GateHouse approached us with a project to lookup individual vessels on our API. The number of daily API calls was to be modest, but Linescape offers 6 different API plans based on call volumes and we were able to offer an inexpensive plan that meets their needs”, according to Dimitrios Sogas, co-founder and director of Linescape.

Linescape hosts the container sailing schedules from over 120 shipping lines, including deep-sea, short-sea and feeders, with some 8 million schedules through 250,000 unique port pairs by more than 4,000 cargo and container vessels. Data includes a wide variety of in-depth information including: sailing schedules, vessel register data, carrier profiles and local carrier contacts. Linescape pioneered data feeds in 2010 and is now the leading schedule data supplier to shippers, forwarders, logistic providers, port communities and digital logistics platforms and supply chain visibility providers.
